Radial artery


Radial artery

- Its lateral and smaller branch of brachial artery , parallel to radial bone of forearm . 
- Its begin at the level of the neck of radius bone , and ends in superficial palmar arch of the hand . 
- Its descends inferiorly of lateral side of forearm to enter the anatomical snuff box of the hand . 
- Branches of radial artery : 
  • Radial recurrent artery ( Branches from beginning of radial artery directly , and direct upward to anastmosis in elbow joint . 
  • Superficial palmar arch ( anastmosis with superficial palmar arch of ulnar artery ) .
